It’s definitely beginning to feel a lot like Christmas in the J&J Household!
Tell me if any of you guys have this issue. I am 100% Pro-Christmas. I love Christmas. I love Christmas music, decorations, trees, plans, events, all of it.
My husband Josh is what you would normally call a Grinch (or I normally would, not sure if that’s a normal thing or not). He tries really hard to put up with Christmas stuff for me, but overall, he’s just not that much into the whole thing. This is how I know he loves me:
On Saturday, we went to the Harry Potter in Concert series at the Atlanta Symphony. The hall was all dressed up in Christmas decor, and so were we! Josh is such a good sport. I love Harry Potter (like most Millennials, probably), so this was an especially fun event for me and less so for Josh, who only even saw any of the movies when he started dating me, and since then has been forced to attend midnight releases of the movies, shows, listening to books on tapes, and now a symphonic tribute to the HP world. Yikes. Sorry, Josh.
On the plus side, I wore a jumpsuit for the first time in my life and did not hate it!
I got it from Stitch Fix, which is super hit or miss for me. In case you don’t know, Stitch Fix is an online shopping system where a stylist picks five items for you (based on your style profile) and sends it to you in a box. It’s super simple, because there’s a return bag, so anything you don’t like you can just pop back in the bag and send off! My referral link is below, in case you want to give it a try!
Like I said, Stitch Fix is super hit or miss for me. There are things that I LOVE, like a couple of dresses and this gold purse they sent me, but sometimes they’re totally NOT me. The jumpsuit, however, was something I never would have picked for myself, yet grew to love the more time I spent wearing it.
So overall, it was a great weekend, and now I’m ready to hit the ground running at work! We have our Lead Team Christmas party coming up, and I’m planning the whole thing. Wish me luck!
